Borgata 9/28/2007 12pm NL Tournament
Excellent table/seat draw. Table 4 won't break until ITM, so i'll get a good look at my opps. Seat 7 not my fav 5 or 6, but good!
Started with 6k, have 6k at break 1. Card dead. Not even hitting flops i'm folding. Fun table.
Was moved to another table on a wierd rule. Table next to me went to 7,so they move the big blind at the nearest table (me). I was playing the old table really well. At new table i was way short stacked vs pro players. They ate me up. Short stack i push AJ, run into AA. I'm out.
Just bubbled a sng after having 60% of chips down to 4 and still managed to lose to 2 tourists. Very disappointed at this outcome. I was surely the best player at this level.
Busted out another sng. My streak of losing sessions continues.
In looking back, I'm seriously considering not visiting the Borgata any more. I have not had a winning session there to date. I don't think I can play at that level. Considering I've made the final table at the Showboat, I think I'll try those tournaments again.

Poker Camp, Baden, Austria, May 2006

Many attendees from North America won seats through events at a local casino (particularly Oregon). I was one of the few fish that paid his way.
This was also the venue of my first MTT ITM finish, although I know now that I played horribly near the bubble. The overall quality of play was quite good at both the MTT and SNG tournaments. I was too old and tired to stay up through the night playing ring games, but many attendees chose to do so.
